Hallowe’en event at Kinneil House

KINNEIL House is opening its doors for Hallowe’en. The spooky mansion, the centrepiece of Kinneil Estate in Bo’ness, will be open for free tours on Sunday, October 28, 2012, from noon to 3 p.m. (last admission 2.30 p.m.) Guides will be on hand to tell visitors about the "white lady" that’s said to haunt the House, plus the people tried for witchcraft in Bo’ness. You’ll also get the chance to visit stunning renaissance painted rooms, see old gravestones from the nearby Kinneil churchyard, and visit Kinneil Museum – open for the special Sunday event. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and are being encouraged to dress up for the event. The best-dressed child will win a voucher.
